How to Finger Knit Step by Step: Part 4 – Transferring Loops from Left to Right

If you love arm knitting, you’ll also love finger knitting. Learn how to finger knit in a few simple steps.

You don’t have to know anything about knitting to learn how to finger knit! Here is my finger knitting step by step tutorial. Be sure to check back as I add separate videos and instructions for each step of the process!

What You Need:

You’ll only need about an hour of time, a little practice, and of course, your two hands. Here are a few of the bulky weight yarns I recommend:

 

How to Finger Knit Instructions: Part 4

 

Step 1: You will do the same process as step three, just with opposite fingers.

Step 2: Use your right hand to slip the first loop off your left index finger and create a new loop by pushing the working yarn through the loop that was on your finger. Put the new loop on your right index finger.

NOTE: You’re always working with the yarn from the back. Do not create a loop by moving the working yarn to the front.
